This item is a vintage 1941 basketball trophy from a St. Louis Parochial School All-Star game, awarded to Bob Sommers. It features a silver-plated figural basketball top. The trophy is mounted on a brown Bakelite base. Please note the Bakelite base is cracked and probably needs some epoxy to hold it together long term. It measures approximately 5 inches in height. Ideally this trophy should go back to St Louis University High School - the team Bob Sommers represented. Purchased at a recent estate sale so we assumed the family did not want it. Will ship USPS with tracking to winning buyer. Will offer local pickup in St Louis metro area.
